What She Reads for me is both the representation of the presence of the unknown that the act of reading brings, as well as the possibility of discovering future words within.

Désirée Jung

My name is Désirée Jung and my intention here is to immerse into words. Writing my biography is a bit like witnessing the spectrum of my own gaze – an impossible task, due to its volatile and vulnerable contingency. For that reason, I let the poems speak for myself. I can add that I’m a Brazilian-Canadian artist, lover of beauty and everything (but not-all) that comes from a feminine space.
