My name is Désirée Jung and my intention here is to immerse into words. Writing my biography is a bit like witnessing the spectrum of my own gaze – an impossible task, due to its volatile and vulnerable contingency. For that reason, I let the poems speak for myself, signing my desire: for place and belonging. I can add that I’m a Brazilian-Canadian artist, lover of beauty and everything (but not-all) that comes from a feminine space. I want to thank you for your visit and the time dedicated to the words. I hope our encounter holds the possibility to unleash silences. If that occurs, take the letter with you, and never let go of it again.
